Ceremony details and broader award context

The annual Artios Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 18, 2027. Events are scheduled for The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, The Edison Ballroom in New York, and One Moorgate Place in London. Special honorees for career achievement and humanitarian awards will be announced at a later date.

The awards, first held in 1985, honor casting professionals in more than 30 categories. Nominees and winners are voted on by members of the Casting Society. CSA President Destiny Lilly stated she was thrilled to celebrate the nominees, adding that casting is an integral part of authentic storytelling and a vital element in making great work.

Submissions for theatrically released feature films will open on October 26. Those nominees will be announced on December 16.

Membership structure and notable omissions

The Casting Society is a membership-based organization for its awards. This structure means some notable casting directors are absent from the nominee list. For example, Emmy-winning casting directors Allison Jones and Emily Buntyn, recognized for their work on Widow’s Bay, did not receive Artios nominations.

The winners will be announced at galas at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, The Edison Ballroom in New York, and One Moorgate Place in London, UK on Thursday, February 18, 2027.
