London Fashion Week SS27

London Fashion Week SS27 is just around the corner, with the event set to take place in September. According to Isobel Van Dyke, writing for Dazed Digital, the upcoming season will feature a number of new and returning designers, including McQueen, which is making its grand return to London after 25 years of showing in Paris.

New Designers

There are a number of new designers set to showcase their collections at London Fashion Week SS27. These include Swedish designer Petra Fagerström, who will be hosting her debut runway show, and Portuguese designer Gui Rosa, who becomes the latest talent to join the NEWGEN cohort. Liza Keane, who joined NEWGEN last summer, will also be one to watch, as will Aletta, which is set to make its runway debut under its new name, A Letter.

Returning Designers

In addition to the new designers, there are also a number of returning designers set to showcase their collections at London Fashion Week SS27. These include Oscar Ouyang, who returns with his third catwalk show, and Paolo Carzana, who is building a reputation for his magical settings. Other names to note down include Francesca Lake, Talia Byre, Charlie Constantinou, Lucila Safdie, and Selasi.

Established Brands

A number of established brands will also be showcasing their collections at London Fashion Week SS27. These include Burberry, which has historically been the biggest name on the LFW schedule, and Mulberry, which will be debuting its new collection under the creative direction of Christopher Kane. Ahluwalia, Chopova Lowena, and Aaron Esh are among the brands that prefer to show once a year, skipping the February shows in favour of September.

Jewellery Designers

The London jewellery scene is also set to be showcased at London Fashion Week SS27. Two of the designers in the current NEWGEN line-up are exciting independent jewellers, OCTI and The Ouze. Dover Street Market will once again host its seasonal jewellery showcase, celebrating emerging jewellery designers. The event is set to take place on September 10, and will feature a number of other designers and brands, including KNWLS, which returns to the London Fashion Week schedule following a two-year hiatus.
